Merging ART and FASHION

The light was shining in on beautiful Daimon Downey artwork at Bay and Fyfe HQ yesterday as I viewed the collection of re-constructed scarves by designers, Emma Mulholland, Wonders Cease, The Eleventh Hour, ToniMay and Kyla Crozier. The final products will be for sale on 21st August 2012 and proceeds are going to the Ted Noffs Foundation. Exclusive and original is two words to describe these items, as only one of each design has been produced. If you have a favourite, be quick and enter for your chance to win a piece from the collection.

The project created by Australian label Bay and Fyfe and Australian e-tailer The Grand Social has seen the designers start with a piece of art in the Bay and Fyfe scarves to design something that represents both themselves and their label. The merging of art and fashion has been overlapping for the Bay and Fyfe pieces since its inception and viewing this collaborative collection it is great to see this concept spread to a wider range of designers. The final products are an array of excitement, the shapes, silhouettes and the colour of the Daimon Downey artwork.
