Tsumori Chisato, hearing this designers name brings a smile to my face. Her stores bring fun back to fashion and the garments are a great example of this. From a lobster motif to new silhouettes, ocean prints and textural dreams, Tsumori Chisato's Autumn Winter collection as shown at Audi Fashion Festival in Singapore exceeded the attendees expectations. And was one of my favourite collections of the week.
Yes, I've been in Singapore for the Audi Fashion Festival. It's the first time I have visited this wonderful city and I'm sure it wont be the last. When I'm in these great places for different events I try to see more of it then just the fashion shows and my hotel. Luckily, I had the chance to wander the Singapore Botanical Gardens.
Every designer strives to get a wow factor on the runway at any show. Whether it be the venue or a performance such as Florence Welch singing for Chanel. That being said, the garments should always be a standout and focal point of the show.
This week at Audi Fashion Festival in Singapore, Desigual showed their Autumn/Winter, We Love collection. And they did show some love... I must admitt I've never seen people make out on the runway before. #shockfactor #love
My love for a great shift dress will forever be shown by the number of them in my wardrobe. And to my surprise... Desigual have some great ones :)
And this piece is not to be missed, my favourite from the collection. Well everyone could do with more sequins in their life :)
The cityscape of Singapore was the perfect backdrop for Collette Dinnigan to show her collection at the Audi Fahion Festival.
Prior to the show, I headed backstage to see the hair and make up artists in action.
The collection shown earlier in the year at Paris Fahion Week, was true to the designers aesthetic showcasing a feminine elegance and sweetness in creating the perfect evening gown for the red carpet. As the models walked the runway in black and shades of silver and white and the garments got closer there was an abundance of tactile textures shown through surface detail, leather applique and delicate black lace
Im currently in Singapore to attend the Audi Fashion Festival. Last night I experienced opening night with Carolina Herrera's creations on the runway and to see her autumn/winter collection in person was an exciting experience.
The collection, filled with a 1940's influence showcased classic styles with an elegent twist. A simple blouse became a standout with fur panelling the sleeve. The movement of the garments seen in person always adds emotion to every piece as the model walks down the runway.
It's almost that time of year again where all my favourite Australian brands come to the Royal Hall of Industries in Sydney for Fashion Weekend. It's a great excuse to get shopping for a girls day out. - Exclusive discounts on designer clothing shoes and accessories - Fashion shows - And pampering Last year, I purchased a PeepToe clutch and I got it for a fraction of its retail price. Was $119 I paid only $39, at Fashion Weekend.
