QANTAS uniform launch

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Qantas uniform launch shown on the airlines runway created inside the Hordern Pavilion, Sydney. Lauching like a planes take off all guests watched on as the pilots came to the runway to start the show with Miranda Kerr bringing out the first look. The trilby hat and trench overcoat in french navy. Designer, Martin Grant added classic elegance to the new Qantas uniforms. From bold panels on dresses to small accents of colours on lapels, Martin added ambiguous colour; ruby red and fuchsia pink to the range.

I was seated front row amongst Australian favourites Peter Morrisey, Cate Blancett, Kate Cebrano, Qantas CEO Alan Joyce and TV personalities Magdalena Roze, Sophie Falkiner and Laura Csortan.
For all those fellow ANTM fans our favourite runway coach, Miss J had flown into Sydney to train the Qantas staff for their modelling debut.

Previously uniforms have been designed by Emilio Pucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Peter Morrisey. We may not all work for Qantas and get to wear these creations. So here a few of Martin Grant's designer pieces, we can try to get a hold of.
