During Vivid Sydney there is multiple concerts on and I was lucky enough to get tickets to opening night with Florence and the Machine. Unbelieveable voice and even better live at The Sydney Opera House.

VIVID Sydney
Sydney Harbour's foreshore has become a motion of art, with lights and imagery projections transforming the country's iconic Opera House into a field of dreams. Circular Quay is currently an art gallery of its own, with viewers interacting with the contemporary light sculptures. From sitting inside a pod and ringing chimes to walking through a tunnel of tubular lights and people lighting up channels from the palms of their hands, this was an evening of excitement and curiousity amognst the visitors to the event.
Artists will have their works lighting up the dark at the Vivid Sydney event until the 11th June 2012. If you can check it out, do it! You may need to rug up and keep warm as you stroll the harbour, but it is definately worth it! This is an event, I hope to attend again next year :)

Gold leaf
The statement of gold and my love for Oscar De La Renta has made me appreciate this piece of sculptured, wearable art. I'm sure I would glisten in gold wearing this piece at the next big event whilst others went green with envy... but for now it's all love and GOLD!

The sun was out, the air was crisp and the market stalls were finishing to set up. Maybe I got there a little early, so time for a coffee around the corner and time to soak up the warmth from the sun.

The cold weather is rolling in for my hometown, Sydney and I'm dreaming of a summer escape. Sailor stripes and flipflops, no maybe a platform. But some warmer weather is definately where I want to be.

My current love for all things with a citrus cest of lime has made me find UNIQUENESS by Alessandra Facchinetti. Prints, texture and detailling have created a mystical depth to the designers collection. There is a sense of calm distinction in Facchinetti's pieces.
