Chalayan

Audi Fashion Festival

Singapore

Seeing Hussein Chalayan's creations on the runway with the transformations happening right before my eyes was a pinnacle of excitement. One great garment after another but as one beauty transformed into another the crowd was in awe.

Tsumori Chisato - Audi Fashion Festival

Tsumori Chisato, hearing this designers name brings a smile to my face. Her stores bring fun back to fashion and the garments are a great example of this. From a lobster motif to new silhouettes, ocean prints and textural dreams, Tsumori Chisato's Autumn Winter collection as shown at Audi Fashion Festival in Singapore exceeded the attendees expectations. And was one of my favourite collections of the week.

#shockfactor

Every designer strives to get a wow factor on the runway at any show. Whether it be the venue or a performance such as Florence Welch singing for Chanel. That being said, the garments should always be a standout and focal point of the show.

This week at Audi Fashion Festival in Singapore, Desigual showed their Autumn/Winter, We Love collection. And they did show some love... I must admitt I've never seen people make out on the runway before. #shockfactor #love

My love for a great shift dress will forever be shown by the number of them in my wardrobe. And to my surprise... Desigual have some great ones :)

And this piece is not to be missed, my favourite from the collection. Well everyone could do with more sequins in their life :)

Opening Night

Im currently in Singapore to attend the Audi Fashion Festival. Last night I experienced opening night with Carolina Herrera's creations on the runway and to see her autumn/winter collection in person was an exciting experience.
The collection, filled with a 1940's influence showcased classic styles with an elegent twist. A simple blouse became a standout with fur panelling the sleeve. The movement of the garments seen in person always adds emotion to every piece as the model walks down the runway.
