The streets of Japan

Wearing printed pants from a market in Vietnam, Piper top from Myer, Karen Walker sunglasses and Marc Jacobs handbag.

I have been lucky enough to travel to Japan this year, and what an exciting place. The traditions, the culture, the food and the people. As one who has a love of art, I have a great appreciation for their traditional dress. It is very detailed and can be made from the most exquisite fabrics.
Above in these photos, I had a wander through a town near Kagoshima before enjoying an authentic Japanese meal.

Swimming in Vanuatu

A day in Vanuatu

The sun was out but quickly as the clouds came rolling through our plans for snorkelling at a small island off Vila to an underwater post office was washed away. Yes, an underwater post office... Although we couldn't get there due to the weather, this gave me the chance to take some photos on the foreshore of Vila near local markets. An hour later the clouds had disappeared and we had just enough time for a quick dip in my Freya black and white stripe bikini and Oliver Goldsmith sunglasses.

'Stop, Revive, Survive' that is true but I'm sure we stopped so regularly to get up close with the roadside aesthetics. This stop to view the array of Vintage signs.

Peter Pilotto

Peter Pilotto known for his prints and colour delivered an exciting mix of his design aesthetic at Audi Fashion Festival in Singapore. The Autumn Winter collection shown earlier this year at London Fashion Week was a winner with the audience. Vibrant colour, prints and shapes formed by bold garment panelling brought the designs together as seen on the runway.

Tsumori Chisato - Audi Fashion Festival

Tsumori Chisato, hearing this designers name brings a smile to my face. Her stores bring fun back to fashion and the garments are a great example of this. From a lobster motif to new silhouettes, ocean prints and textural dreams, Tsumori Chisato's Autumn Winter collection as shown at Audi Fashion Festival in Singapore exceeded the attendees expectations. And was one of my favourite collections of the week.

New Generation Swimwear

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week showcased a talented bunch of new swimwear designers on the runway.

With Australia's borders of coastal beauty and beaches, swimwear is just part of our beach culture. A one piece to the perfect bikini our swimwear designers are exporting the best products to the global market and these new and up-coming brands also have our summer needs covered.
