I have been lucky enough to travel to Japan this year, and what an exciting place. The traditions, the culture, the food and the people. As one who has a love of art, I have a great appreciation for their traditional dress. It is very detailed and can be made from the most exquisite fabrics.
Above in these photos, I had a wander through a town near Kagoshima before enjoying an authentic Japanese meal.

Things are never just black and white or are they? Attending New York Fashion Week I stayed at an apartment in the great city of Manhattan. This may have been the emergency rooftop, but my favourite place for a few photos of my outfit to start the day.

Back in New York and I feel the buzz just as though it was my first visit. New York Fashion Week is a style myriad of international guests, fabulous New Yorkers and a hectic schedule full of runway shows. And I love it!
I spent the day with my handbag from the Extinctions by Iris Apfel collection, between shows patting its soft fluffy texture. Absolutely luxurious and quirky, I couldn't have it any other way.
