There is something very exhilarating about jumping onto a plane, looking out to the horizon and seeing nothing but blue skies as far as the eyes can see. It's the start of a journey or a trip back to loved ones, and I found this to have such a positive impact on looking for both opportunities and opening your own mind to things happening around you. Two days ago, I landed in L.A, the first stop on my way to Vancouver Fashion Week. I am very excited to attend the event and blog about the fashion, trends and what I get upto around the city.
Since being in LA I have visited some designer stores, vintage shops and headed to the mall for what may be a shopaholics dream. Marc Jacobs and Helmut Lang on Melrose Ave were just some of my favourites. From Luxe vintage couture to trawling through American Vintage, Wastelands and vintage t-shirt store there were some gems to be found :)
